Over the June bank holiday weekend we had the great pleasure of exhibiting at Bloom in the Phoenix Park. The exhibition took place over five days with over 30 show gardens and over 120 food producers. MyBlinds stand was located in the Grand Pavillion near the Woodies Garden Expert stage.
The weather was mixed throughout the weekend but for the most part it was good. There were over 106,000 visitors over the weekend with approximately 40,000 ice-creams being sold over the five days. The feedback from onsite traders was very positive.
President Michael D Higgins has described Bloom as being "a beautiful festival of scents, colours and flavours that announces the delights of summer" and has said that "over the last seven years Bloom has become an important and beloved rendezvous".
The biggest draw, by far, to the MyBlinds stand was the Plantation Shutter display where we had several styles on show. We also had Motorised conservatory blinds, a Zebra blind and some of our new range of roman blinds and curtains. On our big screen tv we had some of our Plantation Shutter portfolio of actual shutter blinds we have fitted around Ireland.
All in all, the exhibition was a huge success and we already working hard on getting ready for The Ploughing Championships in Stradbally, Co Laois in September.
We hope to see you all there...
